PG7000 development was undertaken with four main inter-related design objectives:

PG7000 - AMH  - Automated Mass Handling for PG7000™ Piston Gauges

PG7000™, already the world's most advanced piston gauge, takes another step ahead with the introduction of AMH™ automated mass handling technology. The AMH system is an optional accessory to PG7000 and can be added to existing platforms or ordered with new installations. Two models are available to cover the complete PG7000 line of gas and oil operated piston gauges... including absolute mode with a vacuum reference.

  • Eliminates tedious, error prone, and wear inducing manual mass manipulation
  • Automate mass handling while maintaining direct operator control over pressure generation and adjustment.

Transfer Level Pressure Standards:  DH Instruments' state of the art digital pressure monitors and digital pressure controllers.

The need for high accuracy in an automated environment has lead to the development of DHI's RPM and PPC transfer pressure standards.  Pressure transfer standards are used in a wide variety of calibration and testing applications particularly when maximum speed, simplicity of operation and/or automation are required

High Accuracy Gas Flow Standards

DHI Molbloc/Molbox Mass Flow Calibration System
In the early 1990s, DHI recognized the need for a high performance transfer standard for mass flow of gases. To support increasing requirements for documented accuracy at the process level, a transfer standard system combining high accuracy with portability and ease of use was needed.

In 1992, DHI introduced the Molbloc™/Molbox™ mass flow calibration system. Based on a new, patented, laminar and sonic flow element designs, and applying today's modern measuring, mathematical modeling, data processing and manufacturing techniques, molbloc/molbox introduced a new level of performance in mass flow standards. This new tool was rapidly and widely adopted by  those requiring reliable mass flow measurements, in particular mass flow controller (MFC) users and manufacturers.

Mass Flow Gas Calibration System

Molblocs™/Molbox™ covers the flow range from less than 1 sccm to more than 5000 slm with accuracy to ± 0.2% of reading in a variety of gases. A 1.5 second update rate makes real time measurement and test instrument adjustment with a true flow standard possible for the first time. Compact and readily transportable, molbloc/molbox can be operated locally from the full feature front panel or remotely by RS-232 or IEEE-488 interface using simple ASCII string commands
